Price and editions: Standard vs Deluxe
Netmarble lists two digital editions on consoles, priced in line with the PC version:
- Standard Edition ($39.99): the full game.
- Deluxe Edition ($44.99): the game plus an exclusive Sung Jinwoo costume, a Cha Hae-In emoji set and a selection of additional in-game items.
The $5 gap is small, but the Deluxe extras are cosmetic and convenience items, so the Standard Edition gives you the same core game. Regional prices may differ, so check your local store before buying.

What kind of game is Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE?
Developed by Netmarble Neo, it is an action RPG that retells Sung Jinwoo's journey from the weakest Hunter to the Ultimate Monarch of Shadows. Netmarble highlights three pillars:
- Fast, animated combat built around Jinwoo's Monarch abilities, including summoning shadow soldiers.
- Deep progression with skill and playstyle customization.
- Four-player co-op raids focused on cooperative boss battles.
The game first launched on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store in November 2025, and a new trailer debuted at The Game Awards 2025 that December.

Why the console launch matters for Solo Leveling fans
Solo Leveling started as a Korean web novel by Chugong and exploded worldwide as a webtoon. The anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures, which premiered in January 2024 and returned for a second season in January 2025, brought in a huge new audience, much of it on PlayStation and Xbox rather than PC.
Until now, that audience had two options: the gacha-based mobile game or the PC version of OVERDRIVE. The November 3 release finally puts a full-priced, controller-first Solo Leveling game on the main home consoles, with no gacha mechanics in its pricing.
It also arrives in a busy month. GTA 6 launches on November 19, so Netmarble is getting in two weeks ahead of the biggest release of the year, which gives the game a short window to build an audience on consoles.
What console players should know before buying
Netmarble's console announcement does not mention cross-play, cross-save with the PC version or Game Pass availability. Until the company confirms those features, assume your PC progress will not carry over and that co-op raids are limited to your platform.
There is also no Nintendo Switch 2 version announced. If you mainly want to try the Solo Leveling universe for free, the separate mobile game remains an option, but OVERDRIVE is the more focused, console-style experience.
