Black Ops 7 Season 06 brings back The Haunting

The next major Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 update officially has a release date. Activision has confirmed that Season 06 launches on September 17, 2026 at 9 AM PT, bringing back one of Call of Duty's signature seasonal events: The Haunting.

The update introduces content across Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame and Warzone alongside new weapons, events and a special DOOM collaboration.

The Haunting transforms Black Ops 7

The Halloween theme goes far beyond cosmetic changes.

Night falls over Avalon in Endgame, while the new Forbidden Summoning Event introduces another supernatural threat for players to face.

Rethemed environments, zombies and other horror elements will appear throughout Season 06.

Quantum and Bloodstead join Multiplayer

Multiplayer receives Quantum, set inside an Arctic computing facility, alongside the horror-themed Bloodstead.

Zombies locations Roadkill, Lost and Inferno also enter Multiplayer through T.E.D.D. Trials, while Hordepoint returns as part of the seasonal content.

DOOM invades Call of Duty

One of the season's biggest attractions is the collaboration between DOOM and Call of Duty.

A dedicated DOOM Event Pass introduces themed content and rewards as part of The Haunting.

Zombies gets Tenshu and more content

Tenshu arrives as a new Zombies Survival map, while Rogue Run expands with additional maps and rewards.

Treyarch is also introducing special Super Easter Egg rewards for players who have completed Black Ops 7's Round-Based Zombies Main Quests.

Warzone becomes Haunted Hollow

Haven's Hollow transforms into Haunted Hollow, bringing altered locations, supernatural encounters, new traversal opportunities and a mysterious Ghost Train.

The transformation affects familiar locations including Mansion, Lumbermill, Pond and Research.

Giant Infected brings together 64 players

The returning Giant Infected mode features 64-player matches on Haunted Hollow.

Eight players begin as Infected while the Survivors attempt to stay alive and construct a DNA Bomb before the outbreak overwhelms them.

New weapons arrive in Season 06

Four new weapons headline the season: the TR51 Para Assault Rifle, VMP SMG, Arcblade Melee Weapon and Roc 20mm Special Weapon.

Both the VMP and TR51 Para can be earned as free Battle Pass weapon unlocks.
