Price, editions and pre-order bonuses

According to the official Steam page, there are two digital editions in the US:

  • Standard Edition – $59.99: the full game.
  • Digital Deluxe Edition – $69.99: the game plus the Wulin Legend and Blood-Steel Form outfits, a digital artbook and the digital soundtrack.

Pre-orders of either edition include the Treasure Basin accessory, which raises the Remnant Dust drop rate by 10%, and the Legacy outfit. The PlayStation page notes that both items can also be earned through normal progression, so skipping the pre-order does not lock you out of them.

Phantom Blade Zero physical editions come in 2027

The launch trailer, released on October 22, ends by showing three boxed PS5 versions: Standard, Deluxe and an Ultimate Edition with a collectible steel case. They are planned for 2027, and S-GAME has not shared a month, price or retail partner yet. If you want a disc, you will be waiting a while; the October launch is digital only.

A long road to launch

Phantom Blade Zero debuted at the PlayStation Showcase in May 2023. A September 9, 2026 date was announced at The Game Awards 2025, then on June 2, 2026 S-GAME moved launch to October 29 to polish visuals and detail. An August State of Play went deep on the combat and the Wulin setting.

You play as Soul, a warrior with only 66 days left to live, in a dark Wuxia story set in the Wulin. According to the PlayStation Blog, you can unlock more than 30 main weapons and 25 secondary Phantom Edges, and there are three difficulty tiers: Wayfarer, Hellwalker and the hardest, Sixty-Six Days.

What comes next
